What is this website?
This website is to help our bookshops in a time when they need it most. You probably have a lot of time on your hands to read, need a distraction, or miss visiting your local neighborhood bookstore.
The good news is that our favorite booksellers will be providing their very own recommendations on books to buy from their collection.
You can buy any of the books featured here by clicking through to the bookshop's website, by writing to them, calling them up, or simply visiting them once they all reopen!

I was lucky enough to spend the past couple years exploring some of New York's best kept secrets and doing research for one of the most fun projects I have ever worked on: A Booklover's Guide to New York. I met bookshop owners, librarians, authors, street vendors, readers, bar tenders, collectors, researchers, shopkeepers, restaurateurs, publishers, museum guards... The list goes on. Without the support of those people, A Booklover's Guide to New York would not exist.
